Should Chris Rock host the Oscars of not?

Seems to be a trending topic that I thought I might add my little two cents.

First things first. Can we agree:
-Not first time race has been in question publicly during Oscar season
-Chris Rock signed on as host prior to all of this pressure
-Chris Rock is top four race conscious comedians of all time

Okay. Now that we have agreed and share some common ground let's put a few things into perspective. Chris Rock is not hosting the Oscars for free and therefore we should consider calling this a job.  So, for starters, are we really campaigning to have a man call out of work? Okay, well if this issue of racism is of that big of a concern to you then should I assume that you are calling out of work on the day of the oscars? Your not upset with my question as much as your realizing how silly this is. In fact if you and everyone you know that are also passionate about this would call out of work on the day of the oscars it would be a game changer. All I'm saying is put your mask on first. You call out of work.

Lastly, Chris Rock is his own man and should not be slandered by his own people for something so ridiculous. I heard many times the reason we never see a superstar black cast all together is because our superstars make more money creating movies by themselves as oppose to partnering up being forced to take a pay cut. I'm just saying maybe we should look at creating better movies? Maybe Denzel Washington, Tyler Perry, Will Smith, Lee Daniels, Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z and a few others should brainstorm and figure out how to make a classic movie together.

I only can dream of how amazing that movie would be. I want to finish this by giving you a example. Tim Duncan Future hall of famer for years have taken a major pay cut to assure that their is money available to make sure the players that give the team the best chance of winning can be acquired. If the mission is to make amazing movies how about we do what it takes to make an amazing movie?!
